Ingredients
  

  • 450 g Ground beef, 80/20
  • 1/2 cup Onion, finely diced
  • 3 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chili powder
  • 4 piece Hamburger buns

Method
 

  1. Cook the ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 5 minutes, breaking up the meat, until browned and cooked through to 160°F / 71°C.
  2. Stir in the tomato paste, water, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and chili powder until well combined.
  3. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and coats the meat.
  4. Spoon the sloppy joe mixture onto the hamburger buns and serve immediately.
