Ingredients
  

  • 900 g Chicken thighs and drumsticks
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 4 cup Vegetable oil for frying

Method
 

  1. Combine flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Dip each chicken piece in buttermilk, then dredge in the seasoned flour, dip back in buttermilk, and coat again in flour for a thick crust.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or Dutch oven to 350°F / 175°C.
  4. Fry chicken pieces in batches for 14 to 18 minutes, turning once, until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F / 74°C.
  5. Drain on a wire rack or paper towels and serve hot.
