  • 680 g Fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 3 cup Chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Smoked paprika

Method
 

  1. Combine chicken broth, butter, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and smoked paprika in a large pot over medium-high heat and bring to a boil.
  2. Add the trimmed green beans to the boiling broth and stir to coat.
  3. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 75 to 90 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beans are very tender and the broth has reduced by half.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed, then serve the beans with a spoonful of the seasoned broth.
