Ingredients
  

  • 680 g Flank steak or sirloin steak
  • 2 tbsp Chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, minced
  • 2 tbsp Lime juice
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Method
 

  1. Whisk together chipotle peppers, lime juice, olive oil, garlic, cumin, oregano, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Coat the steak evenly with the marinade and let it sit for 10 minutes at room temperature.
  3. Heat a grill or grill pan over high heat until very hot.
  4. Grill the steak for 4 to 5 minutes per side for medium doneness, or until it reaches 135°F / 57°C internal temperature.
  5. Rest the steak for 5 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain.
  6. Serve the sliced steak over rice, beans, lettuce, and your favorite burrito bowl toppings.
